Posted 11 Aug 2017: Creatively Dealing with Alzheimer's and Dementia

On Saturday, August 26, at 2 pm, local author Jytte Fogh Lokvig will present on her work with Alzheimer's and Dementia and creative tools for dealing with memory loss.

Jytte Fogh Lokvig, Ph.D. is a nationally recognized Alzheimer's and dementia specialist, lecturer, and author, known for her innovative and creative approaches to life with dementia.

Dr. Lokvig started the Alzheimer’s Café in Santa Fe, the first in the US. Since then, she mentors others and maintains the National Registry of Cafés, now numbering in the hundreds.

Event is free and open to the public. Takes places in the VGPL Meeting Room, to the right of the main door.
