Posted 18 Dec 2018: 3D Art Exhibitions Will Be Available in Januaryi

New to the Vista Grande Public Library exhibition series is a 72" high lockable, lighted glass display tower for 3/D work. Starting in January, jewelry, small sculpture, ceramics, paper and textile artists may apply for exhibition space. 2/D shows have been running for several years at the library. Now, 2/D and 3/D shows may run concurrently.

Local artists are invited to apply for an opportunity to schedule monthly exhibitions of their 2/D or 3/D art at the library. Contact Vickie Willis at [ vpresident@vglibrary.org ] with questions or to receive an application and guidelines. Interested artists may also download the Temporary Exhibition Application and accompanying Temporary Exhibit Agreement from the VGPL website.

Library exhibitions are publicized through the emailed VGPL Library News and press releases sent to Vistas, Pasatiempo, The Reporter, and sometimes Eldorado Living.

VGPL receives a 20% commission when any art is sold as a result of a show. This funding supports library’s daily operations and programs.
